Role Description
This leadership role focuses on elevating the effectiveness and efficiency of our service delivery through expert research consultation, team leadership, and process improvement.

Lead and supervise project execution teams to ensure research is designed and delivered with strategic precision, operational efficiency, and the highest quality standard.

Manage, mentor, train, and provide strategic guidance to Research Analysts and Research Managers, including resource allocation and project assignment.

Help resolve client escalations, support strategic planning and execution, and develop/manage process improvements rooted in Team KPIs.

Partner directly with end clients to clarify research needs and recommend the optimal methodology and approach.

Partner with Marketing, Solutions Strategy as needed, to create content for conferences, social media, the aytm blog, and other channels.
Qualifications
-
15+ years of quantitative market research experience across multiple industries, including at least 5 years supplier-side.

Extensive hands-on experience across the online survey-based market research lifecycle: research design, questionnaire development, survey programming, fielding, analysis, and reporting.

Strong expertise in advanced quantitative techniques, including MaxDiff, Choice-Based Conjoint, Drivers Analysis, Segmentation, and perceptual mapping.

Proven experience managing direct reports, including hiring, training, developing, and mentoring research talent.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; enjoys a consultative, collaborative approach with both clients and internal teams.

Direct experience using one or more online survey platforms.

Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and Google Suite.

Bachelorโs degree in business, marketing, math/statistics, social sciences, or related field required; graduate degree in MR or related field is a plus.
Requirements

Consult on and lead full- and assisted-service quantitative market research projects across multiple methodologies for a diverse client base.

Partner with Research Services leadership to develop and implement team goals, processes, and tools that improve team performance and project execution.

Lead client consulting and research planning; supervise project execution teams through advising/coaching, providing constructive feedback on deliverables, and resolving client escalations.

Manage, mentor, coach, and train Research Analysts and Research Managers.

Oversee resource allocation and project assignment across the Research team.

Collaborate with Solutions Strategy, Business Development, and Account Management to scope and bid projects based on client requests and RFPs.

Act as a research knowledge resource/SME for internal partners including Solutions Strategy, Business Development, Account Management, Product Strategy & Development, and Marketing.
