[Hiring] Director of Product, Search and Curated Experiences @AlphaSense

Role Description

We are seeking a senior, deeply technical product leader to own Search and Curated Experiences at AlphaSense. This is a leadership role, not a feature role. You will set the search strategy, own the metrics, and be the person the organization turns to drive impact with both Search and Curated Experiences.

• Own both Search and Curated Experiences:
• Relevance, ranking, query understanding, document-type coverage, filters, latency, and reliability across every surface that depends on search.
• Adoption and engagement of company profiles and future new curated experiences.
• Define the strategy:
• Set and defend a roadmap that balances relevance quality, coverage, and performance against clear business priorities.
• Build evaluation and measurement:
• Stand up the metrics, benchmarks, and experimentation needed to know whether search is getting better, and to prove it.
• Collaborate across teams:
• Partner closely with Knowledge Graph, SuperAnalyst / AI, Engineering, and Design.
• Lead and grow a team:
• Manage and mentor the curated-experiences / domain-expert PM.
• Set clear ownership and raise the bar for the search org as it grows.
• Execute and deliver:
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle - from strategy and experimentation through launch, post-launch analysis, and iteration.

• Deeply Technical: Built search and relevance systems at scale.
• Strong Ownership & Drive: Operate autonomously and accountable for outcomes.
• A People Leader: Manage and grow PMs, set clear lines of ownership.
• Analytical & Data-Driven: Balance business goals with technical capability.
• Strong Customer Orientation: Understand sophisticated user search behaviors.
• Clear Communicator: Align engineering, design, and product marketing.
• Domain Experience a Plus: Experience in financial services or related fields is a plus.
