The Director of Portfolio and Product Management, Microwave Ablation & MaG SS is responsible for leading the design and development of product strategies for specific products or product lines (MW ablation, and My Ablation guide Software Solutions) including:

• Identifying market opportunities
• Lifecycle management
• Pricing strategies

This role translates broad business strategies into structured marketing plans, driving product definition, strategy, and positioning to enhance market presence. Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights
• Collaborating with New Product Introductions, engineering, manufacturing, sales, and R&D
• Applying deep industry subject matter expertise to evaluate market trends and define product strategies

Currently, this role is an individual contributor role but may expand with the growth of the portfolio to include the management and development of a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience, including 7+ years in management roles
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required; a master’s degree is preferred
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in business tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email platforms
• Experience with HCM platforms (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP systems is preferred
• Extensive professional know-how in relevant domains with the ability to solve complex problems
• Strong professional judgment and decision-making skills

Requirements

• Align upstream marketing function with business objectives
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the VIS MW and software portfolio
• Conduct comprehensive market research and trend analysis
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define product roadmaps
• Evaluate market opportunities and develop business cases for new products
• Engage with key customers and stakeholders for insights
• Analyze competitor strategies and develop go-to-market strategies
• Establish and nurture partnerships with complementary businesses
• Partner closely with internal finance team for financial models and ROI analyses
• Present strategic recommendations and maintain dashboards for KPIs
