Role Description

F12 is building a next generation Modern Work & AI practice, one that goes beyond tool deployment to deliver measurable business outcomes through Microsoft 365, Copilot, and responsible AI.

As Director of Modern Work, you will own and scale this practice end to end. You’ll:

• Shape the service portfolio.
• Define how we take offerings to market.
• Lead senior technical talent.
• Ensure our clients realize real value from Microsoft 365, Copilot (including Agents), Microsoft Purview, and the Power Platform.

This role is equal parts business builder, technical leader, and executive partner. You will work closely with Sales, Alliances, and Delivery, and partner deeply with our Digital Workplace Adoption (DWA) practice to ensure that technical excellence is matched with strong change management, adoption, and value realization.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the success of the Modern Work & AI practice – commercially, technically, and operationally.
• Practice & Financial Leadership:
  • Own practice strategy, roadmap, forecasting, utilization, and gross margin.
  • Make investment decisions, manage capacity, and ensure delivery of quality and risk controls.
• Service Portfolio & Go to Market:
  • Define repeatable service offerings, scope matrices, pricing models, SOW templates, and delivery playbooks.
  • Enable Sales through presales leadership, solution positioning, and executive storytelling.
  • Partner with Alliances and Marketing on Microsoft aligned GTM motions.
• Technical Direction & Solution Architecture:
  • Lead discovery and solution design that maps business outcomes to Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams), Microsoft 365 Copilot & Agents (tenant readiness, governance, Copilot Studio patterns), Microsoft Purview (Information Protection, DLP, IRM, DSPM for AI), and the Power Platform (environment strategy, ALM, connector and DLP governance).
• Program & Delivery Governance:
  • Oversee enterprise scale programs with strong quality gates, issue management, and clean transitions to run our managed services.
  • Translate risk into minimum viable security and compliance controls.
• Partnership with Digital Workplace Adoption (DWA):
  • Partner with the DWA Practice Lead, who owns adoption strategy, communications, training, and change management.
  • Ensure that adoption is not an afterthought:
  • Embed adoption milestones and readiness criteria into delivery plans.
  • Align technical ROI with user adoption and behavior change metrics.
  • Surface adoption risks early and help remove sponsor level blockers.
  • Sequence governance, enablement, and rollout activities for maximum impact.
