[Hiring] Consumption Pricing Monetization Lead @Lumen

Role Description

Lumen is expanding its product packaging. We are hiring a Consumption Pricing Monetization Lead with deep expertise in consumption-based pricing to lead the strategy and end-to-end execution for bringing Lumen products to a consumption environment. This is a high impact, build-it role where consumption pricing is the priority skill and experience. You will define usage-based pricing models, packaging, marketplace offers, deal terms, and the operating processes required to monetize Lumen products on scale. Partnering closely with Product, Legal, Sales, Finance, and Pricing Operations, you will translate customer consumption commitments into flexible, transactable solutions.

A real-world example of success is enabling a customer to purchase a Lumen product through a familiar consumption model similar to how they transact with hyperscalers and cloud providers. You will be integral in building a repeatable process that maximizes flexibility across listing, consumption metrics, pricing, T&Cs, order flow, fulfillment, billing reconciliation, and revenue recognition while improving customer efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

• Leading the strategy and end-to-end execution for bringing Lumen products to consumption contract vehicles.
• Building strategy to mirror players like Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake and other consumption pricing models.
• Identify which Lumen products create a digital consumption ecosystem and in what form and work to create new SKUs as needed.
• Build the playbook so Sales, Deal Desk, and Pricing Ops can execute repeatably without one-off escalations.
• Drive alignment across Product (what to list), Legal (how to paper), Sales (how to motion), Finance (how to recognize), and Pricing Ops (how to execute).

Qualifications

• Deep Expertise in Corporate Consumption Pricing.
• Five years minimum years of experience in cloud pricing and monetization, business planning, or commercial strategy at a hyperscaler, ISV, AI, or SaaS company.
• Hands-on experience with consumption modeling, packaging, and draw down contract vehicles.
• Operational mindset with building processes from zero, not just strategy decks.
• Excellent cross-functional partnering skills (Product, Legal, Sales, Finance).
• Direct experience with Microsoft MACC private offers, AWS Private Marketplace, or GCP Private Offers.
• Background in networking, connectivity, or infrastructure products.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of related experience.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

• $105,786 - $141,047 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, WY.
• $111,074 - $148,099 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, RI.
• $116,364 - $155,152 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, WA.
