Role Description

We are looking for a visionary and execution-focused Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead Lecturio’s product strategy, UX design, and product management. Working closely with our CTO, CEO, and executive team, you will drive our product roadmap into the age of AI. You will champion AI-first product strategies while maintaining a seamless, world-class SaaS platform experience for both B2C learners and B2B/institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities

• AI-First & SaaS Product Strategy: Define and execute a modern product roadmap that integrates generative AI, machine learning, and personalization to deliver cutting-edge learning experiences.
• Executive Collaboration: Work alongside the CTO, CEO, and board to translate business vision into impactful product initiatives that drive retention and customer lifetime value.
• Leader of Leaders: Recruit, inspire, and grow a high-performing product team in a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.
• Customer & Data-Centric Focus: Leverage qualitative user research and deep SaaS product analytics to optimize platform engagement, solve core customer friction points, and maximize retention.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Oversee stakeholder management across executive leadership, sales, marketing, and content engineering teams.
• Scalable Agile Operations: Drive product execution using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) focused on fast iteration cycles, experimentation, and rapid feature deployment.

Qualifications

• Product Leadership Experience: 7+ years in product management with at least 4–5+ years in a senior leadership role (VP of Product, Head of Product, or CPO) within a scaling SaaS environment.
• AI & Machine Learning Innovation: Proven experience concepting, launching, or scaling AI-driven features (e.g., LLM integration, adaptive learning systems).
• EdTech / B2B & B2C SaaS Background: Hands-on experience with subscription models (PLG, B2C, or B2B SaaS) and a passion for modern digital education.
• Strong Data & KPI Mindset: Skilled in leveraging product analytics, user segmentation, and business KPIs to make strategic trade-offs and drive growth.
• People Leadership & Empathy: Track record of mentoring product managers and designers, fostering innovation, and building high-trust, high-accountability team cultures.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
