Role Description

We are seeking an AI Product Owner with 10 years of experience in geospatial analytics and semantic modeling, preferably within the Pharmacy Benefit Management domain. This role focuses on designing ontologies, semantic models, and governed data pipelines on Databricks to enable accurate, map-driven insights for AI and BI applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams to optimize spatial data assets, ensure compliance, and deliver innovative solutions that improve decision-making and customer outcomes globally.

• Design comprehensive geospatial ontologies to represent locations, networks, and spatial relationships for AI and BI use cases.
• Develop semantic models that unify geospatial, transactional, and reference data into a consistent knowledge layer.
• Implement and maintain geospatial data pipelines on Databricks using Unity Catalog for governance and lineage tracking.
• Optimize data structures and query logic on Databricks for large-scale spatial analytics.
• Create geospatial feature datasets and semantic layers consumable by AI and BI tools.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and mapping specialists to operationalize semantic models.
• Define and document standards for geospatial data quality, metadata, and semantic definitions.
• Build curated datasets aligned with privacy, compliance, and ethical use requirements.
• Analyze workflows to identify semantic gaps and harmonize geospatial logic.
• Partner with stakeholders to design spatial metrics and geocoding strategies that improve customer outcomes.
• Develop validation processes comparing semantic models with ground truth and external sources.
• Produce clear documentation, semantic dictionaries, and usage guidelines.
• Guide peers in adopting Databricks Unity Catalog for secure and governed asset management.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and model assessments.
• Engage with user groups to troubleshoot map-based analytics and prioritize backlog items.
• Evaluate new Databricks features and geospatial libraries for integration.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to accelerate delivery of map-based insights.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in geospatial analytics or spatial data engineering.
• Proven expertise in ontology and semantic modeling in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks platforms and Unity Catalog.
• Advanced proficiency in AI/BI use cases leveraging assistant tools for geospatial insights.
• Strong skills in spatial data processing, geocoding, CRS, and spatial joins.
• Solid SQL, data modeling, and analytics best practices knowledge.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Commitment to ethical and inclusive data use, with focus on accessibility and equitable outcomes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management domain.
• Familiarity with AI-driven geospatial solutions in healthcare or related industries.
