Role Description
We're looking for a Product Manager to lead product strategy for RCC AI & Innovation. You'll own the roadmap for AI products built specifically for the utilities industry—deciding what we build, how we build it, and ensuring we deliver solutions that solve real problems for power, gas, and water utilities.
-
Own the product roadmap, balancing client needs, market opportunity, and technical feasibility
-
Engage directly with utility clients—from CIOs to frontline users—to understand pain points and validate product concepts
-
Write product requirements and work with engineering to scope, prioritize, and deliver features
-
Define success metrics and track product performance post-launch
-
Coordinate go-to-market activities including positioning, pricing, and client pilots
-
Communicate product vision and progress to internal stakeholders and clients
Qualifications
-
2–7 years of experience in product management, preferably with enterprise software, B2B SaaS, or technical products
-
Demonstrated ability to take a product from concept through launch
-
Strong analytical skills—you make decisions based on data and evidence, not assumptions
-
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across technical and executive audiences
-
Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where you'll need to define the path forward
-
Undergraduate degree in a relevant field preferred
Requirements
-
Experience with frontier AI products or familiarity with how LLMs + machine learning systems work
-
Experience in utilities, energy, or regulated industries
-
Experience with Oracle Utilities applications
-
High agency—you identify opportunities and execute without being asked
-
Execution over methodology—"get things done" attitude; you don't get stuck debating frameworks
-
Public portfolio or projects you've led or contributed to
Location & Travel
-
This position is remote-eligible within the USA.
-
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time to client sites.
Is This Role Right for You?
Before applying, ask yourself:
-
Are you comfortable building without a clear playbook?
-
Do you prefer shipping and iterating over planning and perfecting?
-
Do you keep up with the AI frontier and get excited about new model, protocol, and product releases?
-
Can you context-switch between talking to a Red Clay consultant, utility CIO and a field technician in the same day?
If you answered yes to these, we'd love to hear from you.
