Role Description

• Immerse yourself in data, uncovering insights that drive strategic decisions and proactively investigating operational trends.
• Develop and maintain dashboards that tell meaningful stories about operational performance.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses that answer critical business questions and reveal optimization opportunities.
• Lead and manage complex operational projects from conception through completion.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives that span multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Develop project timelines, track deliverables, and ensure accountability across teams.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and strategic planning sessions.
• Transform analytical findings into structured improvement projects with clear outcomes.
• Manage operational process improvements and implementation of new workflows.
• Serve as a strategic partner to operations leadership, extending their capacity to drive multiple initiatives.
• Present findings and project updates confidently to stakeholders at all levels.
• Anticipate business needs by staying ahead with both analytical insights and proactive project planning.
• Become the go-to person for both data questions and operational project execution.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience pairing analytical rigor with hands-on operational ownership.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, data manipulation, and visualization.
• Proven project management experience with ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to switch context without losing the thread and drive several unrelated workstreams at once.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to read a room well.
• Strong organizational skills with experience managing competing priorities and complex timelines.
• Inherent curiosity and analytical follow-through.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-starter mentality with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and identify opportunities with limited oversight.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with comfort in ambiguity and rapid change.

Requirements

• Bonus points for experience with Snowflake.
• Familiarity with modern data stack technologies such as dbt and Fivetran.
• Knowledge of the legal tech industry or professional services.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and applications.
• Experience working with operational teams in complex service-based businesses.
