[Hiring] Senior Solution Manager @Sysco GB

Role Description

The Senior Solution Manager - Warehouse & Logistics will play a key role in delivering Sysco Europe's supply chain transformation strategy through the design and implementation of innovative warehouse and logistics solutions. This role is offering a remote working contract with travel across the UK and EU when required.

• Develop scalable, efficient, and standardised operating models that improve service, productivity, safety, capacity, and cost performance.
• Lead the design and optimisation of warehouse operations, leveraging digital twin technologies, simulation modelling, and data-driven analysis.
• Partner closely with country supply chain teams and senior stakeholders across a complex matrix organisation.
• Support major strategic projects, ensuring solutions are commercially viable, operationally effective, and aligned with Sysco's long-term growth plans.
• Translate operational challenges into practical, technology-enabled solutions.
• Develop robust business cases, assess investment opportunities, define success measures, and track benefit realisation.
• Build strong relationships with supply chain leaders across Europe, driving alignment and leading change initiatives.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or supply chain solution design within Foodservice, FMCG, Retail, Logistics, or Distribution environments.
• Proven track record of leading complex strategic projects and delivering large-scale operational improvements.
• Experience across warehouse operations, transportation, fulfilment, inventory management, 3PL operations, and network optimisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Expertise in operational modelling, automation, and digital solutions.
• Experience developing business cases and applying simulation techniques.

Requirements

• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and gain consensus within a matrix environment.
• Experience using simulation tools, digital twin methodologies, and operational modelling.
• Ability to improve operational efficiency, service performance, and supply chain resilience.
