Role Description

A regional leadership role responsible for managing workplace operations, people, suppliers, budgets, and compliance across a multi-site portfolio. The position focuses on delivering a best-in-class workplace experience while ensuring operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership
    • Be the visible leader of the Workplace team across the defined geographical region of the portfolio.
    • Own and be accountable for the working environments within the region, ensuring a consistent high-quality workplace experience for colleagues and visitors.
    • Line management of the Workplace Managers across the region, ensuring compliance with Service Partner processes and client requirements.
    • Lead, coach, and develop Workplace Managers, promoting consistent leadership capability and a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Understand and articulate the client's values and Operating Principles.
    • Ensure resources deployed in the region are appropriate and provide evidence for adjustments to the client's Regional Director.
    • Ensure all direct reports have a measurable Development Plan identifying a clear career path.
    • Raise matters of non-compliant performance and conduct with line management and/or Service Partner Human Resources.
  • Supply Chain
    • Ensure all third-party services are delivered to the commitments of the global contract.
    • Provide regional governance of supplier performance through regular performance reviews and contract compliance monitoring.
    • Analyze supplier performance across the regional portfolio, identifying trends and opportunities for service improvement.
    • Recommend changes to third-party supplier arrangements when service quality is compromised.
  • Service Quality
    • Regularly visit all locations within the region.
    • Establish and maintain relations with key client's colleagues in the region.
    • Provide effective and responsive service to remotely managed locations.
    • Ensure workplace experience strategies and standards are implemented consistently across the region.
    • Manage the 9-point Key Performance Indicator (KPI) system for the region.
    • Monitor operational performance through audits, KPIs, inspections, and service reporting.
    • Manage minor works as directed by the client.
    • Ensure all Workplace Guides for locations across the region remain up to date.
    • Work closely with the client's IT team to ensure seamless service across the region.
    • Engage with Service Partner published Research & Insight material for continuous improvement.
  • Commercial
    • Effectively manage cost against budget for the region, identifying potential cost savings opportunities.
    • Identify risks or threats to meeting budget as soon as they are known.
    • Review regional financial performance and identify improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Compliance
    • Manage commercial risk in the region, maintaining an up-to-date register.
    • Manage health and safety in the region, completing all required audit requests.
    • Ensure all client's workplaces comply with defined foundation standards.
    • Manage sustainability within the region as directed by the client.
    • Manage the regional requirements of the client's Business Continuity Programme (BCP).

  • Experience in workplace management or related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to analyze supplier performance and identify service improvement opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of compliance and risk management in workplace settings.
