Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operational Duty & Risk Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight of the National Duty Team across NHS Talking Therapies services within VHG, ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient running of the service.

• Managing daily demand and capacity
• Supporting staff
• Coordinating risk management processes
• Overseeing operational issues, escalations, and incidents
• Leading a service of Interface Leads, Operational Team Managers, and Duty and Risk Mental Health Practitioners to ensure patients receive timely, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Significant experience working in mental health and/or Talking Therapies
• Demonstrable 2 Years experience of effectively managing an operational team
• Experience of capacity and demand management
• Experience of working at a Senior Management Level
• Experience in analysing complex data in relation to service performance
• Experience in service development, innovation and growth
• Ability to Lead teams to deliver KPIs
• Advanced communication skills and ability to communicate complex information

• Commercial experience within a private healthcare setting (Desirable)
