Role Description

The Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)/Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul – Supply (MRO-S) Functional Management Office (FMO) requires the support of a Logistics Analyst. This position will provide support in identification, definition and documenting of requirements for logistics, planning and execution between Logistics Capability Initiatives (LCI) and MRO.

• Work with Subject Matter Experts to develop understanding of logistics business processes and work business process re-engineering.
• Supports logistics transformation activities, planning, and execution.
• Develop various artifacts for customer delivery.
• Applies technical knowledge to support various teams in any activities as required.
• Supports development, tracking, and management of program requirements.
• Analyzes and recommends program requirements to meet mission needs.
• Support tracking of requirements being worked in development through SCRUM Teams to completion by System Implementer.
• Support Government-led requirements development and requirements acceptance criteria input.
• Assist Requirements Lead with developing, managing, and coordinating all functional requirements documents.
• Support assigned teams to identify the requirements to support and decompose required legacy functionality to be incorporated into the solution.
• Assist in identifying the connectivity for dependent systems requiring MRO/MRO-S future data.
• Associate task line items and/or resources and scheduling.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with requirements development and management.
• Experience with requirements management for Department of Defense and Air Force IT programs.
• Familiarity with Air Force system ISMT for requirements management.
• Experience with Octane a plus.
• Support of Air Force or Department of Defense IT systems requirements development, tracking, and management.
• Strong experience in using Office 365 software and tools.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening/information gathering skills.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze problems/issues, gather data and information, evaluate, and recommend alternative solutions.
