[Hiring] Facilities Manager @Anywhere Talent

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager with a strong background in project management to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and strategic development of our facilities. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on U.S. facility management expertise with proven project management skills to plan, execute, and deliver facility-related projects on time and within budget.

Note: Candidates without prior facility management experience in the United States will not be considered for interview.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility, including maintenance, security, cleaning, and vendor management
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. health, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA and local codes)
  • Manage facility budgets, expenses, and cost-control initiatives
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
• Project Management
  • Plan, initiate, and manage facility improvement, renovation, and relocation projects from start to finish
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans
  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders
  • Track project milestones, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management
• Vendor & Contractor Management
  • Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors and service providers
  • Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service level agreements are met
• Team Leadership
  • Supervise facility staff, custodial teams, and maintenance personnel
  • Train and mentor team members on safety protocols and best practices

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on facility management experience in the United States (required)
• Demonstrated project management experience (managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. building codes, OSHA regulations, and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
• Proficiency in facility management software and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello)

Requirements

• PMP certification or equivalent project management training (preferred)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Work Environment

• Remote
• Standard schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
• Applicants must have verifiable U.S.-based facility management experience to proceed to interview stage
