[Hiring] Enterprise Logistics Manager @Justrite Safety Group

Role Description

The Enterprise Logistics Manager is responsible for the performance, cost, and effectiveness of Justrite Safety Group’s transportation network across all business units and locations.

• Manage key logistics providers and partner with business-unit leaders to improve transportation performance.
• Control costs, establish consistent practices, and resolve issues across a complex and decentralized network.
• Bring visibility, structure, and accountability to the transportation function.
• Enable individual business units to manage their day-to-day operations effectively.

What You’ll Do at Justrite

• Manage strategic relationships with 3PLs, brokers, carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics providers.
• Establish and monitor key transportation performance measures, including freight spend, on-time delivery, claims, accessories, and provider performance.
• Conduct regular business and shipment-level reviews to identify cost, service, and process issues and drive corrective action.
• Partner with business units to improve transportation performance and establish appropriate operating practices.
• Develop and maintain enterprise transportation policies, standards, reporting, and governance practices.
• Negotiate transportation rates, contracts, service levels, and other commercial terms with logistics providers.
• Identify and implement opportunities to reduce transportation costs through network optimization and improved operating practices.
• Lead competitive transportation analysis and periodic RFP activity to evaluate provider performance.
• Support evaluation of transportation provider and network alternatives.
• Serve as the enterprise escalation point for significant transportation cost, service, or provider issues.
• Oversee international logistics provider performance and support business units with international transportation requirements.
• Maintain working knowledge of international shipping documentation, HTS classification, and related requirements.
• Lead transportation-related projects, provider changes, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive transportation, logistics, supply chain, or 3PL experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-site, or decentralized transportation environments.
• Ability to own strategic logistics-provider relationships and drive continuous improvement.
• Success in reducing freight costs, improving on-time delivery, and negotiating transportation agreements.
• Strong analytical, commercial, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of international transportation and import/export documentation.

Additional Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
• Comfortable operating in a decentralized and evolving environment.
• Strong Excel, reporting, transportation, and ERP systems experience.

Compensation

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000. Actual base salaries will vary based on factors such as location, relevant experience, and performance. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan.
