[Hiring] Director of Provider Operations @Humana

Role Description

As a remote Director of Provider Operations, you will report to an Associate VP of Strategy Advancement and manage a large operations team. You will be responsible for:

• Building, executing, and overseeing manual operations that support VA CCN Credentialing and Provider Data Loading.
• Defining operational strategy and priorities, aligning them with business goals and requirements.
• Ensuring the infrastructure remains efficient, reliable, and cost-effective.
• Collaborating across Provider teams and Humana Military to improve manual work and enhance data quality.
• Guiding automation priorities and managing performance through KPIs, staffing, and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position.
• Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS - National Background Investigation Services).
• HGB is not authorized to do work in Puerto Rico per our government contract.
• 7 years management of 15+ associates.
• 10 years of healthcare operations leadership experience.
• 5 years experience building a large scale operations team for a new implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• VA/TRICARE experience.
• Provider data management experience.

Requirements

• Work at Home Requirements: Self-provided internet service must meet the following criteria: minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
• In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs.
• Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary.
• Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
• Travel: Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$126,300 - $173,700 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based upon company and/or individual performance.
