[Hiring] Director of Operations @Space Inch

Role Description

Space Inch is seeking a Director of Operations to own and evolve the operating standards behind how we deliver. Reporting to our COO, you'll turn those standards into a working system across every functional area. This is first and foremost a systems and adoption role.

• Decide what we document and what we deliberately don't.
• Train people and teams, ensuring standards are adopted.
• Measure whether the standards work.
• Own how we staff our projects.
• Provide the executive team with a regular, reliable view of project status and health.
• Capture how our delivery is changing as AI becomes a bigger part of our practice.

You'll own the full loop: definition (SOP) → training → practice → monitoring → metrics and accountability → iteration. You'll shape both the operations team and the playbook.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in operations, delivery, or business operations roles.
• Proven track record of building an operating system end to end.
• Strong judgment about documentation.
• Experience designing programmatic training and onboarding.
• Hands-on fluency with AI as a working tool.
• Comfortable holding people and teams accountable.
• Experience setting up project reporting and portfolio visibility for leadership.
• Hands-on experience with resource management and capacity planning.
• A systems thinker.
• Excellent written English and strong spoken communication.
• Must be based in LATAM for purposes of time zone alignment with the US.

Requirements

• Background in an agency, consultancy, or professional services environment (bonus points).
• Experience working with distributed teams (bonus points).
