[Hiring] Vice President, Clinical @OpenLoop Health

Role Description

OpenLoop’s mission is to bring care anywhere by powering telehealth solutions at scale. Our provider group is where that care actually gets delivered — a multidisciplinary team of clinicians serving patients in all 50 states on behalf of the companies we power. OpenLoop is looking for a Vice President, Clinical to join our team remotely. This role will be a member of the clinical leadership team and report to the head of the PC group. This critical team member will lead and develop various areas of our clinical operations, including but not limited to:

• Managing our various clinical service lines
• Strengthening clinical quality metrics
• Developing/mentoring medical providers in telehealth best practices

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. with required board certifications & licensing
• Years of telehealth experience
• Leadership experience in telehealth, specifically managing/coaching other clinicians
• Familiarity with telehealth best practices
• Weight-loss medicine experience

Requirements

• Licensed and board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• Obesity Medicine board certification preferred but not required
• Active unrestricted medical license in 5-10 states within the United States
• At a minimum, 3 years of management of medical providers in a US health system within the past 5 years
• Prior experience leading clinical teams, preferably with educational and/or strategic planning experience
• Prior experience in virtual care
• Prior experience in clinical protocol development and management for guiding virtual care
• Prior experience in medical weight loss required
• Prior experience preferred in testosterone replacement therapy, hormone replacement therapy, functional/longevity/peptide medicine, remote patient monitoring, and chronic care management
• Prior experience in virtual clinical operations
• Proficient with Google Suite, virtual communication platforms, and AI
• Able to quickly adapt to new technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams and stakeholders
• Team player
• Able to quickly pivot as needed in a rapidly growing startup environment
• Passionate about motivating and growing a successful team
