[Hiring] Therapy Aide @Habitat Health

Role Description

We are looking for a dynamic, service-oriented therapy aide who is passionate about supporting elderly persons in their journey. The therapy aide will assist the therapy department in day-to-day operations to ensure successful participant therapy and experience.

• Assist a licensed Therapist in implementation of therapeutic treatment activities for patients as directed.
• Assemble, adjust, adapt, repair, and/or construct simple equipment for elderly participants as instructed by a Therapist.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas; clean therapy gym, treatment mats, and equipment; and pick up equipment.
• Maintain inventory, set up for, and lead recreational activities under direction of the recreational therapist.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year experience working with the frail or elderly.
• Proof of medical clearance for communicable diseases, including a TB test.
• Proof of all immunizations up to date.

Requirements

• Experience or education in physical, occupational, recreational therapy (preferred).
• Bilingual: Spanish (preferred).
• A state issued driver’s license, personal transportation, and auto insurance as required by law (preferred).

• Anticipated salary range: $24.00-28.00 per hour.
