Role Description
Fort Worth Detox, a proud member of Quadrant Health Group, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Therapist to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in empowering individuals to achieve their personal and therapeutic goals.
Under the supervision of the Executive Clinical Director, the Therapist is responsible for:

Completing the Biopsychosocial assessment.

Developing treatment plans.

Conducting process groups and individual sessions with facility clients virtually.
Qualifications
-
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Master or Doctorate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or social science.

Licensed or registered as an LMFT, LCSW, LCDC, or LPC; or by the Board of Psychology as a Licensed Psychologist or Psychological Assistant.

Minimum of two yearsβ experience in evaluating and/or treating persons suffering from mental illness and/or substance abuse.

Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Criminal Background and pre-employment drug screen clearance required.

Health Screen required.

Develop computer skills adequate to perform word processing duties upon employment.

Vision, hearing, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination must be adequate for performance of job duties.

Able to sit at a desk, use keyboard, write, and physically perform other job duties.
-
Able to move about the facility to observe clients and staff.
Requirements

Oversee the daily treatment experience of each of his/her clients.
-
Maintain assigned documentation as required within the timelines required.

Conduct assessments of clients at the time of admission and re-assessments as required.

Conduct mental status examinations.

Provide appropriate treatment recommendations based on a review of the clientβs history, signs, and symptoms.

Provide individual, couple/family, and group psychotherapy as needed.

Demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversities of clients and staff.

Provide crisis intervention services, including 5150 determinations.

Engage in Treatment Planning.

Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, professional boundaries, and related issues.
