Role Description

Pippen Health, the virtual medicine practice affiliated with Found, is looking for registered dieticians (RDs) to join their team of care providers dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centric care. Found’s platform integrates leading weight management clinical practice with innovative technology to provide holistic support for patients during their health journeys.

You will get to be an early part of Found’s newest offering, expanding RD services and personalized nutritional coaching and support to members with insurance primarily through synchronous consultations. Consultations include:

• Health assessments
• Lab screenings
• Management of diagnoses related to obesity
• Documentation
• Follow-up care for patients

Alongside our clinical prescribing and member support team, you will provide ongoing support to patients as they navigate their weight care journey, including:

• Managing medication side effects
• Changing nutrition treatment plans based on changes in patient’s health, weight loss progress, and/or insurance coverage

Best efforts are made to maintain continuity of care between patient & clinician to develop long-term relationships.

Providers at Found are passionate about increasing access, improving health outcomes, and delivering an excellent experience to patients at the cutting edge of weight management and obesity care. The ideal candidate would be a technologically-savvy, life-long learner who has independent practice experience in obesity medicine and telemedicine (synchronous and asynchronous).

Research shows that addressing weight health reduces the long-term risk of diabetes, heart disease, and some forms of cancer. Found believes in giving members tools that will help them add years to their lives and reach their goals.

Qualifications

• RD/RDN credentialed with the CDR (active and in good standing)
• Licensed in multiple states, including some combination of: NY, IN, CA, PA, NC, GA, TX, SC, MD, OH, CT, MA, HI, SD or MT
• Active NPI required
• At least 2 years of independent practice experience, preferably in obesity medicine, cardiometabolic disease, or medication-assisted weight loss
• Previous telemedicine experience
• Strong and empathetic oral and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt and remain agile, while helping to improve our ability to deliver care
• Obesity medicine experience and/or certification preferred
• Authorized to work and physically based in the U.S. for this position
• Proficiency with EMR documentation (ADIME notes) and secure provider-to-patient messaging
• Reliable high-speed internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with a professional-quality webcam and headset
• Active professional liability (malpractice) insurance, or willingness to obtain coverage prior to start

Preferred Qualifications

• Board Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management (CSOWM) through CDR, or equivalent obesity medicine credentialing
• Direct experience supporting patients on GLP-1 receptor agonists (e.g., semaglutide, tirzepatide, liraglutide) or other anti-obesity medications (AOMs)
• Training in motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral techniques, or the Transtheoretical Model of Change
• Master’s degree in nutrition, public health, or a related clinical field
• Bilingual English/Spanish (or other additional languages)
