Role Description
The primary purpose of the Group Practice Manager (GPM) is to provide oversight, recommendations, and administrative data management of CRH services. The GPM measures and assesses clinical business activities with an emphasis on improving clinical product line performance. S/he supervises a team of five employees.
Responsibilities

Veteran Experience Responsibilities:

Develop, standardize, implement, and sustain key operational/business processes, including scheduling practices.

Identify and recommend improvements to optimize clinic management processes and access strategies.

Receive buy-in through an in-depth analysis of in-house and non-VA provided care.

Programmatic Oversight:
-
Lead local program planning and execution for VHA-approved program of clinic practice management.
-
Build local program to implement all national guidance.
-
Responsible for primary care, mental health, specialty care, ambulatory surgery, and all other ambulatory clinics oversight.

Support high quality, accessible, cost-effective health care services.
-
Ensure a high-quality patient experience for the Veteran by acting on feedback.

Work with CRH Associate Director of Operations and CRH Leadership to develop strategic plans related to access to care.

Integrate data analytics and measures with continuous process improvement utilizing LEAN, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.

Collect and analyze trended data sets to assist in resource allocation.

Identify causal interrelationships between various aspects of ambulatory care and its impact on clinical operations.

Work independently with CRH leadership and personnel to implement national and VISN standards.

Collaborate with Operations teams: Scheduling, Technology, Training, and Program Support Teams.

Review and develop input and recommendations; ensure record management guidelines are adhered to.

Recommend and coordinate with VISN CRH leadership on service improvements with data-driven metrics.

Telework:

GS-12 Individual Occupational Requirement (IOR):
-
Undergraduate and Graduate Education in a major study of hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields.

Experience of progressively responsible analytical or administrative, or clinical management or supervisory experience in the health care field.
Requirements
-
One year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the federal service).

Experience with Telehealth Management Platform (TMP), CPRS, Federal EHR (Cerner), ISS, CTM+, and expertise with Microsoft suite including Excel.

Developing, refining, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive strategic plan for telehealth programming.

Providing direct supervision for staff, planning work, setting priorities, and preparing schedules.

Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other relevant directives in telehealth programs.

Designing studies, training programs, and organizational strategies related to improving access and efficiency.
