Role Description
Global Medical Affairs is seeking a Pharm.D. candidate summer intern to support Long‑Acting Market Transformation (LAMT) initiatives. LAMT is a medical‑led strategy focused on enabling the successful adoption of current and future long‑acting injectable (LAI) HIV assets by aligning evidence generation, scientific insight, and medical strategy at a global level. The intern will support priority global medical projects across the existing LAI portfolio and future pipeline assets, gaining exposure to how Global Medical Affairs shapes strategy across the asset lifecycle—from established products to emerging innovations. This role supports both near‑term global deliverables and longer‑term capability building for LAMT.
Working closely with Global Medical Affairs leadership, the intern may support:
-
LAMT medical strategy activities across current LAI assets and future pipeline programs, including landscape assessments, synthesis of insights, and strategic framing.
-
Contribution to global medical projects supporting long‑acting HIV treatment and prevention, with scope flexed based on evolving portfolio and pipeline priorities.
-
Support for evidence‑focused activities, including literature reviews, data synthesis, and interpretation of clinical, real‑world, or modeling outputs relevant to LAI assets.
-
Development of medical materials (e.g., slide decks, briefing documents, executive summaries) to support global discussions on both in‑market and pipeline LAIs.
-
Assistance with global advisory board preparation and follow‑up, including synthesis of insights related to current and future long‑acting therapies.
-
Collaboration with cross‑functional and regional medical partners to support aligned global medical objectives across the LAI lifecycle.
