[Hiring] Substance Use Therapist @La Frontera Center Inc.

Role Description

This is a great opportunity for an ENTRY LEVEL Substance Use Therapist to join our agency. The ideal candidate will have experience in substance abuse treatment and experience facilitating groups. FLEXIBLE schedules available with NO WEEKEND shifts.

• Provide psychotherapy for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adults and their families, individualizing services to meet unique needs.
• Facilitate IOP, SOP, & Aftercare groups using the agency Substance Abuse Program curriculum.
• Utilize community resources and referrals to enhance and expand treatment.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in marriage and family therapy, counseling, or social work REQUIRED.
• AzBBHE Licensure is preferred.
• Experience facilitating groups required.
• Families First program experience is preferred.
• Must have experience working with substance abuse populations.
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus. Bilingual Differential available.
• Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of employment.

Requirements

• Must be willing to complete reports and be punctual in corresponding with DCS, probation, and others.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have good time management skills.
• Must have good team collaboration skills.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance card.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License, with no major infractions in the past three years is required.

• At time of hire, a 3-year state driving record with no major infractions or excessive driving violations/tickets is required.
