TeamHealth has a great telemedicine hospitalist opportunity for a part-time/PRN, board-certified internal medicine or family medicine physician with a minimum of 4 years of hospital medicine experience and a North Carolina medical license to provide remote nocturnist coverage within the Mission System community hospitals in Western North Carolina. Hours are 7pm-7am and responsibilities include:

• Performing patient exams virtually with onsite nursing staff
• Entering admission orders
• Prescribing medications
• Documentation of patient diagnosis, treatment plan, etc. using the hospital's EMR
• Communicating with patients, nursing staff and consulting with ED physicians on site

Qualifications

• Board-certified internal medicine or family medicine physician
• Minimum of 4 years of hospital medicine experience
• North Carolina medical license
