Role Description

The Sr. Science & Health Advisor, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, will oversee the outpatient portfolio of certification programs and all business functions, including:

• Development, implementation, revision, and management of programs, including projections, budget, grant, and expense management.
• Reliance on scientifically sound certification criteria and professional experience in developing healthcare certification programs.
• Overseeing marketing materials, campaigns, and deliverables to funders.
• Recruitment, engagement, and management of the volunteer workgroup for each healthcare certification.
• Managing operational and logistical deliverables and collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Overseeing the build process for platforms needed to advance professional certifications.
• Supporting and partnering with internal teams to develop and improve new and current programs.
• Fostering and managing relationships with external collaborating organizations, expert volunteers, and internal teams.
• Designing, continuously evaluating, and auditing certification processes to maximize efficacy.
• Collaborating with the Certification Evaluation Team to draft measurable standards aligned with scientific evidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years of relevant clinical experience.
• Experience in healthcare, healthcare education, or in a public health-related organization.
• Project management experience with the ability to influence performance without direct line accountability.
• Proven experience in programmatic development in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled in recruiting, training, and developing volunteers.
• Proficient knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel up to 20% and overnight stay.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing, biology, business administration, public health, or other healthcare-related fields (preferred).
• Experience in hospital or outpatient certification programs.
