[Hiring] Senior Manager, Medical Affairs - IST Operations @Arcus Biosciences

Role Description

The ideal candidate will have experience working on Investigator-Sponsored Trials (ISTs) with extensive knowledge of operational activities. This contract position is remote, working 20 hours per week.

• Provide operational support for the Arcus IST (Investigator-Sponsored Trial) program including interfacing with external investigators.
• Oversee study specific timelines and manage appropriately.

Qualifications

• Bachelors, Masters or Advanced (i.e. PharmD, PhD) degree in a life-sciences discipline plus 7+ years progressive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, including 2+ years of diverse Medical Affairs experience(s).
• Oncology (solid tumor or hematologic malignancies) clinical, research, or medical communications experience required.
• Experience working in a matrix environment with other functional groups (e.g. Regulatory, Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Commercial) where consensus across multiple opinions and good working relationships are important.
• Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to make appropriate decisions to operationalize and move key projects forward.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent planning, organization, and project management skills, including managing multiple priorities and projects with flexibility to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
