Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Healthcare Document Management Consultant to lead the implementation, optimization, and support of document imaging solutions within healthcare organizations. This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring successful solution deployment, workflow optimization, user adoption, and ongoing operational excellence. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with healthcare industry knowledge, strong communication skills, project leadership skills, and a passion for mentoring others.

Lead the deployment, configuration, and support of document imaging and management solutions for healthcare organizations, ensuring strategic alignment and seamless integration with existing workflows and EHR systems.

Mentor and provide guidance to team members, fostering skills development and sharing industry best practices.

Analyze and optimize complex workflow processes; drive and champion process improvements to elevate efficiency, compliance, and user experience throughout the document lifecycle.

Oversee and actively participate in the development and delivery of training programs for both end-users and internal staff, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and solution adoption.

Act as escalation point and subject matter expert for technical troubleshooting, collaborating cross-functionally to resolve high-impact issues.

Manage and update comprehensive project documentation, including detailed training materials, workflow diagrams, and technical specifications.

Serve as a primary client liaison in both onsite and virtual environments, building strong relationships, gathering requirements, and providing strategic counsel throughout project lifecycles.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes, methodologies, and standards.
Qualifications

Bachelorβs degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.

Extensive experience in healthcare IT, document management, or EHR systems, including project leadership or mentorship responsibilities.

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop employees, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across interdisciplinary teams and operate independently as a subject matter expert.

Exceptional professional written and verbal communication skills, with experience delivering presentations and training.

Previous experience as a client-facing lead, business analyst, or project lead in a healthcare IT consulting environment strongly preferred.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
