Role Description

Join Southcoast Health as an RN-Staff Nurse, where you will be at the heart of our community-focused and care-driven mission.

• Perform a variety of duties involving coordinating nursing care for patients.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
• Possess knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care for patients.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• One to three years of related experience preferred.
• Previous Medical Office experience is desirable.
• Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) is highly desirable.
• 3-5 years of specific experience may be required based on practice/department specialty.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Rhode Island is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• ACLS may be required based on practice/department specialty.
• Case management experience helpful; hospital and in-office work helpful.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons.

Requirements

• Must live in MA or RI; possible scheduled days 2-3 times a year in office in Fairhaven.
• Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
• Rotation schedule requirement: every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.
