[Hiring] Registered Nurse / RN Virtual Care @UT Health East Texas

Role Description

Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Virtual Care Registered Nurse (RN) in Tyler, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible and accountable for the practice of Nursing for assigned patients or tasks via a remote interface.
• Must be able to manage multiple technology platforms and develop collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other staff via remote platforms.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in medical/surgical inpatient nursing.
• Candidate must live in the state of Texas.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
