• Role: Specialist Complex Care Nurse
• Location: Derby
• Hours: Days & Waking Nights / 12 Hour Shifts
• Payrate: £25.30 per hour

You’ll care for a young adult in Derby working 12 hour shifts to provide safe and consistent care in their own home. They live with Pompes Disease and require support with:

• Tracheostomy
• Oxygen Therapy
• Diabetes Management
• Gastrostomy
• Ventilator

We are looking for carers who:

• Have a good standard of literacy skills
• Are able to understand written information and keep clear records
• Are eager to learn necessary skills and able to follow directions/routines
• Possess good communication skills and clear spoken English
• Are willing to work as a team with both colleagues and family

With nurse-led oversight, individualised clinical training, and the wider Komplex Group behind you, you’ll provide the standard of care you’d want for your own family.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence
• Experience with Tracheostomies & Ventilators
• Experience in care or confidence undertaking clinical training
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
• The ability to follow detailed clinical protocols consistently
• Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping
• A genuine commitment to safe, person-centred care

Requirements

• Providing personal care, medication, and clinical interventions
• Managing tracheostomies, ventilation, and specialist equipment
• Monitoring clinical observations and recognising deterioration
• Maintaining accurate records and escalating concerns immediately
