Role Description
Our client is a mission-driven healthcare organization dedicated to delivering personalized nutrition and wellness services. The company specializes in evidence-based nutrition counseling, often working with individuals who manage chronic conditions or seek preventive care. They are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join the team!
The Registered Dietitian is responsible for providing expert nutrition and dietary guidance to individuals or groups to promote optimal health. This includes:

Assessing nutritional needs

Developing personalized meal plans

Educating members

Collaborating with the entire Health and Care Support Team
The RD ensures that all recommendations align with current scientific guidelines and regulatory standards. This is a remote position.
Essential Responsibilities Include:

Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients with chronic conditions via video, phone, email, and portal.

Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop individualized care plans, and provide counseling on dietary modifications.

Use Medically Tailored Meals as educational tools to support patient learning and behavior change.

Leverage Remote Patient Monitoring data and portal feedback to adjust treatment plans and optimize patient outcomes.

Provide evidence-based lifestyle counseling, including behavior change strategies, motivational interviewing, and goal setting.

Manage an independent caseload with 33-35 hours/week of scheduled telehealth appointments.

Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups, portal engagement, and RPM data.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR system following OnPoint Nutrition protocols and regulatory requirements.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state licensure requirements, and professional practice standards.

Participate in regular mentorship sessions with senior dietitians and clinical leadership.

Access specialty-specific training in diabetes, CHF, renal, GI, obesity, and behavior change.

Engage in continuing education to strengthen clinical competencies and telehealth skills.

Collaborate with peers through case consultations and team learning.
Qualifications

Minimum of bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred but not required.

Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential from CDR required.

Active state licensure in AL, FL, NC, NJ, NY, PA, or VA, or the ability to obtain multi-state licensure, is required.

2+ years of clinical nutrition experience required.

Bilingual (Spanish and English) a plus, but not required.

Experience with EMR systems required.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfort with telehealth technology required.

Experience in chronic disease management and value-based care across underserved populations preferred.

Certification in obesity and weight management (CSOWM) or diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES) preferred.

Familiarity with Remote Patient Monitoring tools preferred.

Patient-centered approach, with the ability to demonstrate empathy and cultural sensitivity.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.

Open to learning and receptive to receiving feedback.

Ability to manage time effectively and build clinical efficiency.

Benefits

Starting compensation for this role is normally between $75,000-$87,000 per year.
