[Hiring] Qualified Mental Health Professional @Safe Place Counseling

Role Description

We are looking to hire: English and Spanish Speaking QMHPs.

Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) is responsible for providing community-based clinical necessary services to the client in accordance with the treatment plan that is designed to meet the mental health, educational, vocational, residential, financial, social, etc. needs of the consumer.

• Maintain a caseload of 3 - 10 clients
• Attend monthly supervisions and team meetings
• Serve as an intricate member of the SP team to ensure continuity of care and support services 24 hours a day, seven days per week as necessary
• Provide structured face-to-face scheduled sessions to clients based on the treatment plans
• Provide services in the home, school, office, and community setting
• Ensure that the majority of mental health services are primarily rendered in the community and ensure that limited services remain clinic-based
• Documentation completed within 48 hours of service
• Work collaboratively and provide ongoing updates to the clinical team including psychiatrist as needed
• Complete and attest to completion of all mandatory training as identified in TRR
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively both individually and as part of a team
• Ability to appropriately accept feedback through the supervision process, displaying the willingness to learn, grow, and improve
• Well organized and adaptable
• Demonstrates good insight and judgment
• Effective conflict resolution skills
• Provide skill building and case management services to clients
• Submit reports timely
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work with children and families to deliver skills through approved curriculum
• Ability to support the agency's culture, growth, and success through communication, accountability, and positivity

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum number of hours that is equivalent to a major in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education, or early childhood intervention
