Role Description

Metro Psychotherapy & Counseling is a group private practice that provides psychotherapy to young adults, middle-aged adults, elderly, and couples. We pride ourselves on creating a safe and prosperous space for our clients and staff.

• The position is remote; candidates must have a private and confidential area for remote video therapy.
• We offer $500 per year to eligible clinicians for training of their choice.
• We are looking for therapists who are motivated, creative, and looking to break the mold of the average practice.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of working with patients struggling with PTSD and PTSD-related issues or Obsessive Compulsion Related Disorders.
• Passionate about providing inclusive and culturally competent mental health services.
• Formal training in Trauma or OCD is preferred.

Requirements

• Active NYS LCSW/LMSW/LMHC/MHC-LP license.
• Proven success utilizing interventions, not limited to DBT, ACT, and/or CBT.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in psychiatric assessment and diagnosis.
• Ability to maintain clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
• Experience working with electronic medical records.
• Reliable computer and internet service and appropriate remote work environment to ensure privacy and confidentiality.
