Role Description
The Psychologist/Psychiatrist supporting this position will support the program by evaluating personnel as well as providing accurate reports in compliance with mission standards and requirements.
Essential Functions:

Provide reports of evaluations, including necessary elements such as:

Sources of Information (PSF, etc.)
-
Discussion/evaluation data (including evaluation of data received by DOE and report release status)
-
Mental status examination and results
-
Interview information and pertinent history (mental health, alcohol, drugs, behavior, financial, etc.)
-
All included testing and results
-
Analyze personnel test results, including:
-
Psychological and/or laboratory test results
-
Interpretation/analysis of results (e.g., MMPI, PEth tests, urinalysis, drug testing, alcohol testing)
-
Professional interpretation of results, conditions, or determining factors.

Provide personnel summaries, including:
-
Diagnosis
-
Professional opinion regarding rehabilitation and reformation
-
Adhere to and deliver discussion of criteria used (DSM-5 or other diagnostic manual).

Draft, review, and implement evaluation questions, providing detailed answers/descriptions posed by DOE in the request letter.

All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Must be a psychiatrist or a Licensed Clinical psychologist.

Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Energy โQโ clearance.
Requirements

Seven to ten (7-10) years of related experience, preferably with the DOE.
