Role Description
Weโre seeking New York-licensed psychologists to provide time-limited outpatient psychotherapy to injured workers in the workersโ compensation space. This is a 1099 role designed for clinicians who want flexibility, strong operational support, and a thoughtful clinical culture.
What youโll do

Provide time-limited psychotherapy (typically 4-12 sessions, with caseload range of: 5โ20 cases, you choose your caseload)

Work with injured workers in pursuit of return-to-function following a work injury

Complete documentation within 24โ48 hours using Ascellus Provider Portal

Receive a steady stream of referrals based on the volume/capacity of your choosing
Compensation

$160 - $200 per therapy session, dependent upon relevant experience. High end of the stated range is reserved for those with significant applicable experience

Clear cancellation/no-show policy: Paid full hourly rate for no-show/late cancel appointments (within 24 hours with proper patient outreach)

Qualifications

Active NY Psychologist license (PhD/PsyD)

Minimum 1+ years post-licensure
-
Competence in CBT, evidence-based treatment, and timely documentation

Telehealth-ready private workspace
Requirements

Training/certification in PTSD interventions (EMDR/PE/CPT) (Preferred, not required)

Background in health psychology (Preferred, not required)

Experience in Military/VA/Forensic settings (Preferred, not required)
