Role Description

Are you a passionate, patient-focused clinician ready to make a real difference through holistic and alternative mental health care? Better U Clinical, P.A. is growing and we are looking for licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners with strong medication management experience to join our innovative, mission-driven clinical team. Our independent clinicians provide:

• Psychiatric medication management
• Psychotherapy
• Ketamine-assisted therapy administered under appropriate clinical supervision

Not every patient who seeks care through Better U Clinical, P.A. will be clinically eligible for all services. Clinicians are compensated for every completed appointment regardless of eligibility outcome; your time is always valued and paid.

Qualifications

• Active PMHNP licensure in at least one of the following: California, Indiana, or Georgia — multi-state licensure strongly preferred
• Active DEA registration with Schedule III prescribing authority and active licensure in at least five additional states
• Minimum three years of experience in psychiatric care, medication management, or telehealth clinical settings
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a warm, genuinely patient-centered approach to care
• Experience or interest in integrative medicine or ketamine-assisted therapy is a plus
• Reliable remote work setup and the ability to work independently while staying connected and collaborative with the clinical team

Requirements

• Part-time contractor position starting at a minimum of 8–10 hours per week, with significant opportunity to grow into full-time
• Must clock in for a minimum of 1 hour per day, 5 days per week to ensure continuity of patient care
• Paid per completed appointments, chart review, and training sessions — compensation is provided regardless of patient eligibility outcome
• Compensation averages approximately $100/hour; full details provided during the interview process
• Clinical supervision provided for ongoing support, collaboration, and professional development
