[Hiring] Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner @GLOBAL OUTREACH TELEREHABILITATION

Role Description

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adult veterans
• Diagnose and treat mental health and substance use conditions, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, and co-occurring disorders
• Develop and adjust treatment plans in coordination with our therapists and clinical team
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in Simple Practice
• Deliver services primarily by telehealth, with in-office sessions available
• Follow HIPAA, CARF, and payer documentation standards

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted APRN/NP license in North Carolina; other states a plus
• Board certification as a PMHNP (PMHNP-BC) or eligible
• Collaborating physician per state requirement
• Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain one)
• Current malpractice insurance (or ability to obtain coverage)
• Ability to complete credentialing with VA Community Care, Medicare, and commercial payers
• Must pass a background check
• Reliable internet connection and a private, HIPAA-compliant space for telehealth

Requirements

• Experience treating veterans or military populations (preferred)
• Experience with PTSD, trauma, and substance use treatment (preferred)
• Familiarity with VA Community Care documentation requirements (preferred)
• Experience with Simple Practice (preferred)
