Role Description
We are looking for a Provider Quality Associate to help us maintain and grow our high quality network. The Provider Quality Associate will play a critical role in our success.
Reporting to the Head of Provider Quality, you will own surgical quality reviews and be crucial in the development of our network; helping us ensure that Carrum patients receive the highest level of care. You’ll be responsible for analyzing large data sets, becoming a subject matter expert, and providing recommendations to our Quality Committee. You’ve hustled, you’ve created, you’ve implemented, and you love the intensity of a startup in high-growth mode.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:
-
Always put medical quality and patient safety first.
-
“Crunch the numbers” on some of the most well-known provider brands in the country, supporting our Quality Committee in making certification decisions.
-
Maintain the high quality bar of our existing CoEs through annual provider recertifications and post-operative complication tracking & monitoring.
-
Prioritize accuracy and quality control when working with significant amounts of nuanced data across multiple sources.
-
Collaborate with prospective CoEs to enable them to complete and submit the quality evaluation in a timely and complete fashion.
-
Regularly collaborate with the provider business development and account management, clinical, and data science teams to maintain and expand our best in class network.
-
Balance creativity, discipline, and research to identify best practices in evaluating physician performance.
-
Utilize our vast data resources to find new ways to deliver quality-related value to our clients.
Qualifications
-
You have 1-2 years of experience analyzing large data sets that will help us make informed decisions required to provide our patients with the highest quality providers.
-
You love data, are experienced with healthcare billing and coding, and have intermediate- to-advanced skills with Excel/GSheets and data analysis; coding language knowledge or CPC status is a bonus.
-
You are entrepreneurial and resourceful — as an early member of a startup, we need people who can find creative ways to make a big impact quickly and without much direction.
-
You have experience handling deadlines, keeping many balls in the air, and prioritizing work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
-
You have a passion for collaborating cross-functionally with operations, data, and engineering teams to ideate, complete projects, and drive impactful results.
-
You see blockers as an opportunity, rather than a deterrent. When challenges arise, you get excited about finding solutions to not only fix but improve situations.
-
Entrepreneurial and resourceful — you’re a problem solver.
-
Experience handling deadlines, keeping many balls in the air, and prioritizing work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
