[Hiring] PRN Outpatient Cardiology Opportunity @ArchWell Health

Role Description

The cardiologist (PRN) is a dynamic and flexible individual who is licensed/board certified with experience in noninvasive cardiology and adult echocardiography. This professional will play a key role in providing accurate and high-quality interpretation of echocardiograms.

• Perform acute interpretation of echocardiograms and/or screening AAA studies
• Participates in quality improvement sessions for echocardiography (quarterly)
• Communicates results of echocardiograms, if needed, with primary care providers in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication skills to facilitate patient care including ability to foster and cultivate relationships with primary care physicians, center care team members, and staff
• Extensive knowledge of cardiovascular disease and evidence-based practices and procedures
• Well-versed in echocardiography guidelines, standards and practices as dictated by the American Society of Echocardiography
• Personable, tactful, and professional demeanor
• Comfortable with electronic medical record charting as well as teleconferencing including telehealth patient encounters
• Ability to work remotely and adhere to required HIPAA guidelines

Requirements

• MD or DO in Internal Medicine/Cardiology
• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
• Board Certified in Adult Echocardiography
• Current, unrestricted, active license to practice medicine in applicable state
• Additional active licensure in adjacent or regional states where ArchWell Health has established center(s) is highly desired
• Current DEA registration
• Proficient PC skills
