Role Description

Responsible for Pre – Registration of patients.

• Responsible for Pre – Registration of patients including updating demographic and insurance information and creating accurate and thorough registration records.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection of copays and financial counseling services, as needed.
• Adheres to confidentiality requirements when handling patient information.
• Possibility of being remote.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required
• In a fast paced ever changing time sensitive environment; multitasking is a must in Pre Reg world.
• Ability to work independently

• Self-motivated to meet daily goals.
• Prefer candidates with experience in customer service (preferably in healthcare) with the following skills:
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Effective communication skills
• Customer service oriented
• Knowledge of basic computer programs
