Position Specifics:
-
PRN Physician Assistant to provide virtual patient care appointments.
-
This role supports our urologic surgeon and in-office team by conducting telehealth visits, managing follow-ups, reviewing test results, and addressing patient concerns within scope of practice.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in a virtual setting while keeping a close and open communication with the on-site manager, clinical and front desk team.

Carlisle Urology is a small, dedicated department focused on providing quality, patient-centered urologic care to the Carlisle, PA community and surrounding area.

The team consists of about 6 experienced staff members and 1 board certified urologic surgeon.

Requirements

Conduct virtual patient visits for urologic conditions, follow-ups, and post-procedure care

Obtain and document patient histories, assessments, and treatment plans
-
Review labs, imaging, and test results and communicate findings to patients
-
Provide patient education, medication management, and care coordination

Collaborate with the urologic surgeon and office staff to ensure continuity of care
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
-
Follow all clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and telehealth standards
-
Applies basic professional practice knowledge and skills appropriate for practice setting.

Communicates effectively, both verbally and in documentation.

Licensure, Education, Certifications, and Clearances

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP):
-
The successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program is required
-
BSN, MSN is preferred
-
Current state RN license and CRNP certification are required
-
Current CPR certification is required
-
Act 33, Act 73, and Act 34 Clearances will be required
-
Physician Assistant (PA):
-
A graduate of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the physician assistant (ARC-PA) is required

BS or MS candidate is preferred
-
Current state PA license certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required
-
Current CPR certification is required
-
Act 33, Act 73, and Act 34 Clearances will be required
