[Hiring] Physical Therapy Coder @DMOS Orthopaedic Centers

Role Description

Our Coding team is growing! As a full time remote coder, you will be coding Physical Therapy claims and supporting billing for research and denials on claims you code. You will communicate with coding, providers and leadership to answer any questions related to how a claim was coded. After some on-site training, this position works from home (within the state of Iowa) with flexible hours.

This is a full time opportunity position. Hours are Mon-Fri; 8a-5pm.

Here’s What You Can Expect

• Using coding knowledge to create accurate codes based on medical dictation and clinical documentation
• Review claims and make any necessary adjustments before closing a case
• Be able to work remotely as a part of a small, close-knit team of professionals you can rely on who works alongside to create an experience we can be proud of.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapy or Claims coding required for full time at home positions.
• Calm: Ability to communicate calmly and provide professional support to providers or peers.
• Curiosity: Practicing the art of listening, asking clarifying questions, and avoiding interrupting others.
• Independent workers: Knowing how to focus and when to ask for help.
