Role Description

We're looking for a passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to support students in Saugus, Massachusetts, for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, district-wide opportunity offers competitive pay and a flexible schedule for qualified candidates holding a Massachusetts PT license.

• Competitive Pay: $45–$60 per hour, based on experience
• Location: Saugus, MA
• Work Arrangement: On-site

• Setting: Public school / special education, K–12
• Dedicated Support: An experienced Service Delivery Manager providing ongoing clinical guidance, mentorship, and professional support
• Meaningful Work: Help students develop the mobility, confidence, and independence they need to participate successfully in school

As a school-based PT, you'll help make that possible. You'll work collaboratively with educators, families, and related service professionals to help students build the functional skills they need to thrive.

• Provide individualized physical therapy services to K–12 students
• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and assessments to identify students' functional mobility needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor physical therapy goals within Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support mobility, balance, coordination, strength, motor planning, and functional independence
• Help students improve access to classrooms, school activities, and their educational environment
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
• Recommend adaptive equipment, accommodations, and strategies to support student participation
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and service records

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license (required)
• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (DPT or equivalent)
• Experience or interest in pediatric physical therapy, school-based services, or special education
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• A student-centered approach and a genuine passion for helping children succeed
