Role Description
We’re looking for a Payor Enrollment Specialist (Contractor) to help build and scale our payor enrollment operations. This role will be critical in establishing workflows, driving enrollment timelines, and ensuring our clinicians are properly credentialed across payors. You’ll operate at both the execution and systems level — owning day-to-day enrollment while helping define best practices as we scale.

Credentialing & Enrollment
-
Own the end-to-end payor enrollment lifecycle for providers (MDs, NPs)
-
Review and attest to CAQH profiles for accuracy and completeness
-
Submit and track payor enrollment applications across multiple health plans
-
Drive proactive follow-ups to ensure timely approvals and minimize delays
-
Billing & Issue Resolution
-
Act as the point of contact for enrollment-related escalations
-
Investigate and resolve billing or payor-related issues tied to enrollment status
-
Timelines & Stakeholder Management
-
Track application progress and identify risks to timelines
-
Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders
-
Serve as a subject matter expert on payor enrollment processes
-
Process & Systems
-
Build and refine SOPs for credentialing and enrollment workflows
-
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
-
Help implement tools and systems to support growth
-
Compliance
-
Ensure all credentialing aligns with NCQA, CAQH, state, and federal requirements
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider data across systems
Qualifications
-
2+ years of experience in provider enrollment, credentialing, or licensing
-
Hands-on experience with payor enrollment applications and follow-up
-
Experience working with providers, payors, and/or health systems
-
Familiarity with credentialing databases and CAQH
-
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-
Able to manage multiple workflows and timelines independently
-
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
