Role Description

We are seeking a PA licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide virtual therapy to college students. This is a fully remote position within the US. • Conduct high-quality, culturally competent virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments.
• Conduct biopsychosocial intakes focused on whole-person care with clear diagnostic assessments.
• Engage with patients through our collaboration portal.
• Collaborate with supervisors, peers, and on-campus treatment providers.
• Document clinical encounters for effective care coordination.
• Partner with our care navigation team to support students.
• Collaborate with campus care teams to create longer-term treatment plans when necessary.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in PA. Multi-state licensure is an added advantage as we operate in all 50 states.
• Possess 1+ years of experience in an outpatient community mental health setting.
• Expertise in treating common mental health conditions among college-aged students including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders.
• Understand culturally responsive treatment and have experience with diverse patient groups.
• Comfortable assessing the urgency of escalating risk scenarios.
• Equipped with a quality video camera and a stable internet connection to facilitate virtual care.

Compensation

• $143 for 60-minutes intakes
• $48 for 30-minutes follow-ups
• $50 for all no-show intakes
• $25 for all no-show follow-ups
• $100 per hour for attending NP collaborative meetings and all hands meetings
