Role Description

Looking to hire passionate and committed Occupational Therapists who are dedicated to serving adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the major cities of Idaho. A day in the life of one of our therapists can look like:

• Visiting with their clients to provide individually tailored therapy on Zoom
• Documenting evaluation visits and contacting families and case managers to share updates
• Monitoring Assistants as needed to ensure they provide the highest quality service and being there to answer any questions they may have

Soundly Speaking provides both in-person and teletherapy services to our clients. Based on an hourly wage, we expect our Occupational Therapists to:

• Provide high quality evaluations in the client’s home and communicate with families about the therapy sessions
• Provide the appropriate amount of supervision for their assistants
• Demonstrate adaptability and teamwork skills
• Turn in paperwork in a 24 hour timeline
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records in accordance with HIPAA, State, and Federal Regulations

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
• Idaho-issued Occupational Therapist License
• Ability to learn on the job and utilize and augment the materials provided

Requirements

• DO NOT apply if you do not have a valid Idaho-issued Occupational Therapist License. A valid license is obtained after completion of a Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and taking the accredited exam.
• DO NOT apply if you are not comfortable working with adults in their homes and/or outside of a clinic.
