Role Description

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process.

As a Fullmind Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Deliver engaging, high-quality OT instruction in a remote classroom, building the same rapport and momentum an in-person therapist would.
• Evaluate fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills, and translate findings into clear, actionable goals.
• Design and carry out individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's IEP in a remote setting.
• Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals with the rigor districts require.
• Partner with school-based staff, teachers, case managers, and administrators to keep everyone aligned on student progress.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
• Active New York State OT license in good standing.
• NBCOT certification.
• Comfort and experience with telepractice platforms for assessment and therapy delivery in a school/IEP setting.
• A reliable, FERPA-compliant home setup: webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private, distraction-free workspace.
• Strong remote-collaboration skills. You'll be a full partner to classroom teachers, case managers, and families even without being in the building.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Requirements

• This is a 1099 contract position; it does not include employee benefits.
• Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and placement.

Benefits

• $55-$80 hourly rate; rates are negotiable and subject to change.
