Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our growing team in a fully remote role. As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will support our clients across a broad range of occupational health activities, including:

• Case management
• Health surveillance oversight
• Compliance
• Clinical governance

Drawing on your occupational health expertise, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality advice, support, and quality assurance to both clients and internal stakeholders. In this role, you will utilise your clinical knowledge and professional judgement to provide expert guidance, support our Occupational Health Technician team, and ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and client-focused services.

Qualifications

• Occupational Health experience within a similar role
• Must be a registered nurse with an NMC pin
• Occupational Health degree or Diploma
• Health Surveillance skills and knowledge (Audio, Spirometry, HAVs etc.)

Requirements

• Oversee the OH technician Team with all health surveillance activity
• Support the OH Technician team with enquiries/escalations (live via teams/telephone)
• Monitor the quality-of-service of OHT clinic provision
• Advise clients on aspects of Occupational Health legislation
• Support with auditing and provide updates to the Clinical Governance Manager on compliance
• Support and assist with the development and delivery of Occupational Health policies
• Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company's CRM system
• Report clinical supervision findings to the clinical lead and highlight any training needs of the junior staff
• Carry out risk assessments
• Support with health promotion
• Support the clearance of new starter questionnaires
• Support line manager in compliance checks and audit
• Ensure compliance with relevant professional guidelines e.g. NMC Code of Conduct
