[Hiring] Nutritionist @Foodstuffs North Island

Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Food for Thought Nutritionist to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract, based in Wellington. In this role, you’ll deliver the Food for Thought nutrition education programme in primary schools across the Wellington region, with support and occasional travel to the South Island and other regions as needed. This is a highly autonomous role where you’ll manage your own schedule, working independently while staying connected to a supportive national team of Nutritionists. You’ll play a key role in empowering tamariki to build knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed food choices for healthier futures.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Nutrition or Dietetics
• Strong knowledge of nutrition, particularly as it relates to children
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience working with schools and/or diverse communities, including Māori and Pacific learners

Requirements

• Ability to manage your own workload effectively
• Strong organisation, planning, and relationship-building skills
• Flexible approach, including a willingness to travel domestically
• Full NZ driver licence
